Sean Kampas is an active local leader fighting for honest, effective local government.
Sean volunteers his time and experience as Chairman of the Orland Park Technology Commission. He also co-authored and delivered the new ethics ordinance for the Village of Orland Park as a member of the ad hoc ethics committee. Most recently, he successfully supported an effort to raise awareness of the ballot referendum seeking term limits for the village board.
He is an accomplished leader with over 20 years of technology, business, and strategy consulting experience. Sean is a trusted advisor with many executive stakeholders in the retail, grocery, agriculture, food services, energy, healthcare, and finance industries. In that role, he works as a problem solver who unleashes the full potential of organizations. Sean has been recognized as an innovator with three patents in the areas of hybrid cloud management and a system for collaborative innovation.
With a passion for strategic planning and complex problem solving, Sean is eager for an opportunity to serve as a trustee in the Village of Orland Park so he can help our village continue to be a special place to live, work, and play. He recently became a volunteer member of Orland Park’s Emergency Services Disaster Agency.
Sean has been an Orland Park resident since 2015. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Bradley University. Sean met his wife in Orland Park 16 years ago. Together, they have one daughter.
