Constantine (Gus) Lekas is an accountant with a lifetime of experience managing finances conservatively and transparently.
Gus is a manager at a local public accounting firm in Orland Park. He currently works with clients from a range of industries including manufacturing, construction, food service, logistics, non-profit, and government. Gus believes in fiscal responsibility and is always looking for ways to improve not only his workplace, but the client businesses he serves.
Gus believes in transparency within our government and his goal is to serve in the best interest of the residents of Orland Park. His professional background will serve as an asset to the village’s finances.
Gus served at the Center for Economic Progress (now Ladder Up), where he provided hardworking low and middle-class families with tax preparation and counseling. Gus also volunteers on various non-profit accounting projects.
Gus has been an Orland Park resident since 2015 and grew up in neighboring Palos Park. He has been married to his wife, Samantha, a lifelong Orland Park resident, for six years. They have four children who have actively participated in Orland Girl Scouts, Orland Park Pioneers, and our wonderful village recreation classes. When Gus is not working at the office, you can find him gardening and spending time outdoors with his family. Gus believes supporting local establishments is vital, and regularly supports Orland Park restaurants and businesses.
Gus received his high school diploma from Carl Sandburg High School, graduated from Moraine Valley Community College with his associate degree in Science, and went on to graduate from Lewis University with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Accountancy (with honors). Gus was a member of the Dean’s List and a recipient of an Academic Scholarship.
